Barrier-Free University Award for the Vocational School of Health Services
Bartın University has achieved a significant success within the scope of the “Barrier-Free University Awards 2025” presented by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). From our Vocational School of Health Services, the Disability Care and Rehabilitation Program and the Child Development Program were deemed worthy of the Badge Award.
Physical arrangements implemented to facilitate access to higher education for individuals with disabilities, accessible educational materials, and inclusive learning environments were among the prominent practices highlighted during the evaluation process.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özge Özgür, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, made the following statement regarding this achievement:
